Getting to Maldives

Direct flights are available from Johannesburg International Airport to the Malè International Airport which is based in Malè, the capital of Maldives. The shortest distance by air is 6,445 km's and the flight takes about 7.15 hours.

Once your flight has landed in Malè, it is easy to travel to your island of choice either by boat, plane or both. Sea planes will transport guests to the more distant islands, while fixed wheel planes carry guests to the five regional airports, from where your next trip will be by speedboat.
